getting fair ready

OK, so the county fair is is not till the 14th of August, but I have high aspirations this year! With high aspirations comes proper planning ahead so I am not stitching together another sweater the night before my entry is due. I'm a horrible procrastinator and I'm working on this stress inducing issue. Which is why I've cast on my sweater entry during these early days of March.

Yes, I'm knitting with golden fleece!
This is a sweater pattern that I've been drooling over and coveting for 2-3 years. It is a fully reversible sweater, you can wear it upside down, right side up, backwards, and supposedly inside out. Amazing I know!

This Wenlan Chia pattern is found in Reversible Knitting: 50 Brand-New, Groundbreaking Stitch Patterns. This book has some mind blowing projects from many top knitting designers.

I LOVE this book!
I'm using Cascade Yarns Magnum super chunky wool to create this sweater. I've ordered it online at Jimmy Bean Wool. My orders have arrived shockingly fast, which is of course awesome! Especially since I can't move on in the pattern till my order arrives with my main color. I ordered it yesterday and it has already shipped. So, next week I can keep on trucking through this first of many fair entries.

This years high aspirations:
Knit sweater
Sew a dress
Design & make a pair of shoes
Knit skirt
Can something
